Job Description

The Brand Manager – Cosmetics ( Make up and Mass Fragrance ) will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to build brand equity, drive consumer engagement, and achieve sales and profitability targets. The role involves leading product launches, managing promotional activities, overseeing market research, and collaborating cross-functionally with sales, supply chain, and creative teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement annual brand plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Define positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for key products.

Product Management:

  • Lead new product launches and line extensions from concept to market.
  • Manage product life cycles and SKU rationalization.
  • Work closely with R&D and packaging teams to develop innovative products.

Marketing Campaigns:

  • Plan and execute 360° marketing campaigns (digital, retail, influencer, PR, promotions).
  • Collaborate with creative agencies and internal design teams for campaign assets.
  • Monitor ROI and adjust strategies to optimize performance.

Market & Consumer Insights:

  • Conduct market research, trend analysis, and competitor benchmarking.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and innovation based on consumer insights.

Sales & Trade Marketing Support:

  • Work with sales and trade marketing teams to ensure brand presence at retail.
  • Develop POS materials, promotional offers, and retail training tools.
  • Support e-commerce initiatives with digital-ready assets and promotions.

Budget Management:

  • Manage brand budgets efficiently and ensure optimal allocation of resources.
  • Track expenses, report variances, and maximize marketing ROI.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of the cosmetics/beauty industry and consumer behavior.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for branding and storytelling.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and translate into actionable plans.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders.

 

Job Requirements

  • 2-6 years of experience in brand management, preferably within cosmetics, beauty, or FMCG.
  • Experience in digital marketing, influencer campaigns, and e-commerce is a strong plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media platforms) is a plus.
