- Strategic Communications Planning: Contributes to the development of PR and internal communications strategies aligned with corporate goals and regional priorities. Ensures contextually relevant execution and alignment across subsidiaries and initiates timely progress reviews for effective decision making.
- Budget Management: Manages and monitors the communications and PR budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources, expenditure tracking, cost control, and vendor negotiations to maximize ROI while maintaining quality and impact of communications initiatives. Provides regular budget reports and forecasts to senior leadership.
- Media & External Relations: Supports the Chief Marketing, PR & Communications Officer in cultivating strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers. Secures high-impact media coverage, manages press interactions, and ensures consistency in external messaging.
- Executive & Corporate Communications: Manages corporate narratives, executive messaging, speeches, and presentations in collaboration with the Chief Marketing, PR & Communications Officer. Ensures clarity, consistency, and timely approvals across internal and external platforms.
- Crisis & Reputation Management: Leads the development and execution of crisis communication plans, aligned with internal policies, regional procedures, and applicable governmental mandates. Ensures timely, transparent, and coordinated responses to protect and uphold the Group’s reputation across all markets.
- Content Development: Oversees the creation of high-quality communication materials—including press releases, newsletters, executive briefings, intranet content, media kits, and FAQs—tailored to diverse stakeholder audiences.
- Event & Campaign Communications: Plans and coordinates communications for key events, announcements, and campaigns to maximize reach, engagement, and impact. Secures necessary reviews and approvals from the Chief and Marketing Manager to ensure alignment and messaging integrity.
- Internal Communications & Engagement: Champions and delivers internal communication initiatives and campaigns that reflect the company’s culture, values, and strategic priorities. Collaborates with sister departments to ensure broad, effective communication cascading within EKH and subsidiaries and engagement with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Works cross-functionally with Marketing, Sustainability, HR, Legal, HSE, IT and senior leadership, as well as subsidiary communications teams, to ensure aligned messaging and consistent implementation of communication strategies across all markets.
- Measurement & Reporting: Monitors and analyzes communications performance using analytics, media sentiment, employee feedback, and engagement metrics. Provides strategic insights and reporting to leadership to inform ongoing planning and decision-making.
- Individual Performance and Development: Deliver on annual KPIs and implement the agreed training and development plan, actively seeking managerial support to achieve personal and professional growth.
- Team Performance and Development: Guide and support direct reports to foster a high-performing, inclusive, and collaborative team culture. Set clear objectives, provide ongoing feedback, and support career development and upskilling.
