Job Description
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the mechanical maintenance team, utility team, and glue team to achieve maintenance objectives.
- TPM Implementation: Drive the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) across all production lines.
- Predictive Maintenance: Establish and manage predictive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Preventive Maintenance Planning: Develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance of machinery.
- Lean Six Sigma Projects: Initiate and lead Lean Six Sigma projects to improve maintenance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Kaizen Facilitation: Facilitate Kaizen events to encourage continuous improvement and employee involvement.
- SOP Development: Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all maintenance activities.
- KPI Monitoring: Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to maintenance activities.
- Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring equipment failures using techniques such as fishbone diagrams.
- Spare Parts Management: Oversee the inventory of spare parts, ensuring availability while managing costs effectively.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring alignment with organizational financial goals.
- Collaboration with Production: Work closely with production managers to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs and provide development opportunities for maintenance staff.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct performance evaluations for maintenance engineers and team members.
- Utility Management: Oversee the maintenance of utility systems (water, electricity, air) to ensure operational efficiency.
- Project Management: Manage maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion within budget.
- Reporting: Prepare and present maintenance performance reports to upper management.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives aimed at improving maintenance processes and reducing operational costs.
Job Requirements
Education :-
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or relevant maintenance management programs.
Experience :-
- Technical Experience: Minimum 7 years in mechanical maintenance within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
- Managerial Experience: Proven track record of leading maintenance teams and managing large-scale maintenance projects.
