Job Description
We are seeking a technically strong and commercially sharp Sales Engineer to drive our business in electrical control panels, with a particular focus on water and wastewater pumping systems. The ideal candidate will be an electrical engineer with proven sales experience and deep understanding of pump control solutions, including booster sets, lift stations, and wastewater treatment systems.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for developing new business and managing existing relationships with OEMs, system integrators, contractors, and consultants in the water and wastewater sector. You will represent our full portfolio of electrical panels, including DOL, star-delta, VFD-based, PLC-based, and IoT-enabled control panels tailored for pumping applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities for electrical panels and automation solutions in the water & wastewater sector.
Engage with contractors, consultants, pump manufacturers, and system integrators to promote our tailored panel solutions.
Conduct technical presentations and site visits to understand application requirements and offer the right control solution.
Prepare and submit commercial offers, technical proposals, BOQs, and follow up through to order closing.
Coordinate with the internal engineering and production teams to ensure accurate designs and timely delivery.
Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and new technologies in control systems for pumping applications.
Represent the company in tenders, exhibitions, and industry meetings.
Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to market expansion efforts.
Required Qualifications & Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
5–10 years of sales experience in electrical panel building, preferably with a focus on pumping systems or industrial automation.
Solid understanding of water and wastewater applications such as booster systems, sewage lifting stations, firefighting pump systems, and pressure management.
Knowledge of low voltage components including VFDs, soft starters, PLCs, protection devices, and control relays.
Familiarity with major brands: Schneider, ABB, Danfoss, Siemens, LS, etc.
Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams, control schematics, and tender documents.
Existing relationships with pump OEMs, system integrators, and infrastructure contractors in Egypt is a major advantage.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and technical selling skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
