Head of Procurement

Our ClientAn established technology and e-commerce business have an exciting newly created opportunity for a Head of Procurement to join their team based in Dubai, UAE.Your ResponsibilitiesProcesses and documents daily financial transactions whilst ensuring financial records are effectively maintained, current and accurateUtilizing system to manage weekly payment schedules and ensure the timely invoicing and collection of rents and other chargesAssists in the preparation of periodic Financial Statements for assigned group companies, assisting in preparation of DFSA regulatory returns and completing other external financial reportingParticipates in the preparation of monthly management accounts across the GroupCoordinating with bankers for processing various payments and receipt and preparing bank reconciliationsAssists in the preparation of annual budgets and forecastsMaintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures where appropriateCollects, analyzes, and summarizes account information and trends; creates presentations and reports for internal distribution as requiredLiaises with internal stakeholders and other external finance departments to ensure the effective processing of financial transactionsYour QualificationsAt least 3-4 years experience in a similar role performing a range of finance and administrative dutiesProfessional accounting qualification is advantageous (eg – ACA, ACCA, CPA)Experience within Real Estate / Asset Management or a Property related company is desirableStrong understanding of financial terminology, banking transactions, IFRS and accounting principlesExperience with VAT and its impact on business operations (eg – invoicing, payments, etc)Strong communicator with confidence in interacting with and responding to a variety of third parties (eg – banks, finance departments, Regulators, etc)Strong attention to detail coupled with superior analytical skillsHalian GroupWith over 20 years of experience, we have come to understand that innovation is the only way to provide agile, practical solutions that transform businesses and careers.Our resourcing and smart services help you to realize tomorrow’s potential.
