Job Description
Export Logistics coordinator
Join our team in SMD INDUSTRIAL, Egyptian – Austrian manufacturing company in 10th of Ramadan in Sharqia (Egypt).
• Coordinate export operations including shipment scheduling, cargo booking and shipping documentations
• Prepare export documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin, BL, export licenses ..etc.
• Ensure compliance with customs export regulations and requirements with local and international trade laws at destinations’ countries (such as export control regulations, requirements and trade embargoes)
• Communicate externally with customers, banks, airlines, shipping lines and freight forwarders to ensure smooth implementation and shipping rate cost efficiency for export shipments
• Coordinate internally with the planning and warehouse teams to maintain correct and timely delivery.
• Track shipments and provide status updates to customers
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to export documents.
• Maintain accurate implementation of the export procedures and records transactions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of export procedures and policies.
• Stay updated about changes in export regulations and industry trends.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, foreign trade or a related field.
• A logistics background 1-2 year is highly preferable
• Excellent MS office, writing and speaking skills in English.
• Strong understanding of export procedures, documentation, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a very fast-paced dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with detail-oriented character and strong organizational skills
