Job Description
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and assess their shipping needs
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social platforms
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads (importers/exporters and frequent shippers)
- Present the company’s freight forwarding services effectively (Sea, Air)
- Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
- Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
- Collaborate with the operations and customer service teams for smooth execution of shipments
- Set up meetings with prospects, understand their pain points, and provide tailored solutions
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in freight forwarding or logistics sales (min. 1–3 years preferred)
- Proficiency in English
- Strong knowledge of international shipping (export procedures, etc.)
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools
- Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
- Fast learner and passion for sales
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
