Job Description
- Prepare, review, and coordinate technical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation for civil engineering projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements and deadlines are met.
- Analyze project specifications, contract documents, and design drawings to identify discrepancies and propose solutions.
- Assist in the preparation of quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and material submittals.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates and reports to senior management.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
- Support the resolution of technical issues arising during construction and liaise with consultants and contractors as needed.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, standards, and safety regulations throughout all project phases.
- Maintain organized records of project documentation, correspondence, and approvals.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of technical office processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a technical office role within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other engineering design software.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and project documentation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Ability to work on-site in an office-based environment.
