Job Description
• Prepare and review shop drawings and quantity take-offs for projects.
• Review design drawings and ensure compliance with project specifications and contracts.
• Assist in preparing and updating project schedules in coordination with the planning team.
• Prepare interim payment certificates for clients and subcontractors.
• Review and approve material submittals according to specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants and subcontractors regarding conflicts or technical issues.
• Contribute to preparing regular technical reports.
• Provide technical support to the site team and resolve issues during execution.
• Conduct quantity surveying, cost estimation, and prepare bill of quantities (BOQ) for various project phases.
• Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment as per project needs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a technical office role within the construction industry.
- Proven expertise in preparing and reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, project management principles, and industry standards.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, and project management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
