Job Description

Prepare and review shop drawings for structural works in accordance with project specifications and engineering standards.
• Develop accurate reinforcement detailing drawings and bar bending schedules.
• Interpret architectural and structural drawings and translate them into precise execution drawings.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare detailed quantity surveying reports.
• Assist in preparing payment certificates and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, specifications, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with design, site, and project management teams to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain high accuracy and quality in reviewing and approving technical documents.
• Use AutoCAD, ASD, and Microsoft Office tools to develop and manage technical documentation.

Job Requirements

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in technical office and shop drawing works for construction projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and ASD
• Experience in preparing reinforcement detailing drawings and bar bending schedules
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings and convert them into precise execution drawings
• Good knowledge of technical specifications and building codes
• Strong skills in quantity surveying and preparing payment certificates
• High accuracy in reviewing drawings and coordinating with engineering teams
