Job Description

Abdul Latif Jameel, a diversified business group with more than 75 years of experience, entered the Egyptian market in 1999 and has since expanded from finance to automotive through its division, ALJ Auto Jameel, representing brands like Daihatsu, Ford and GAC Motor.


ALJ Auto Jameel is hiring for aftersales logistics department a logistics Specialist.

Supply Chain Coordination 

  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of spare parts and other materials needed for repair and maintenance services.
  • Work with Stock Control to manage inventory levels and ensure the availability of correct parts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, freight forwarders, and carriers to ensure efficient delivery of goods and materials.
  • Plan and schedule transportation and delivery of goods.

Shipping and Delivery Management 

  • Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely and safe delivery.
  • Provide updates on orders and deliveries to customers and internal stakeholders.

Compliance and Safety 

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Implement and maintain safety procedures for a safe working environment.

Logistics Support 

  • Assist in developing and implementing logistics strategies and policies.

Communication and Collaboration

  • Build and maintain relationships with brokers, suppliers, and freight forwarders.
  • Communicate with Stock Control to address needs and resolve issues.

Managing and Maintaining Accurate Logistics Data

  • Manage and maintain accurate logistics data in databases.
  • Use data analysis to identify trends and inform logistics strategy.

Reporting

  • Prepare Lead Time Reports and manage documentation.
  • required training and pass relevant exams as per the annual training plan

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Excellent command of English.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Automotive spare parts background is must.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
