Job Description
Role Purpose:
Meeting SCCT's human capability needs through working closely with the leadership team to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s hiring needs for every role, and to meet competitive hiring goals and expectations.
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop relationships with leaders to build awareness of their departments, hiring needs, and job specifications.
- Write and post job descriptions on relevant platforms, especially social media.
- Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and execute innovative strategies to find quality candidates.
- Screen resumes and CVs and manage job candidates throughout hiring process, from interview preparation to pre-offering.
- Maintain database of candidate records, including active and passive prospects, hired and fired employees, and other designations.
- Foster high-touch relationships using a database of qualified candidates to choose from when positions become open.
- Remain active with job boards, social networks, and platforms for finding quality candidates.
- Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews.
- Take part in representing the organization in employment fairs and any recruitment venues.
- Interview and assess selected candidates (BBI) and provide feedback to unsuccessful candidates based on the job’s competencies and requirements.
- Monitor recruitment metrics and provide regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
- Manage the Man Power Planning process with the leaders proactively and respond to unplanned hiring needs timely.
- Provide coaching and guidance to junior-level recruiting staff.
Job Requirements
- 5 or more years work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist for both white & blue collars.
- Excellent familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks.
- Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
- Strong knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs).
- Excellent verbal and written English language communication skills.
- Business acumen.
- BSc in Business Administration or relevant field, specialized HR certifications / Diploma preferred.
