Job Description
Sokkar Mecca for Industrial Sewing Machines is looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Sales Representative to join our team in Cairo. This role is ideal for someone with experience in selling industrial sewing machines or a background working in garment production. You’ll be representing leading global brands such as JACK, SIRUBA, VI.BE.MAC, DISON, and BULLMER, providing tailored solutions to clients across the textile and apparel industry.
- Promote and sell industrial sewing machines and spare parts to manufacturers and factory clients
- Visit customers to assess needs and recommend suitable equipment
- Provide technical insights in a clear, client-focused manner
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with production managers, factory owners, and procurement teams
- Prepare quotations, negotiate terms, and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing
- Coordinate with the technical support team to ensure customer satisfaction after sales
- Track sales activities, report on client feedback, and contribute to market intelligence
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in sewing machine sales or hands-on experience in garment or textile manufacturing
- Solid understanding of industrial sewing processes and machinery
- Sociable, strong communication, and negotiation skills
- Proactive and well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities
- Comfortable with local travel to visit client sites
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience in using CRM systems to manage sales activity and client records
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or relevant field preferred
- Technical background or factory floor experience is a strong asset
