Job Description

1.New Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across corporate, private, and government sectors.
  • Generate qualified leads through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and industry events.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets through strategic sales planning.

2. Account Management

  • Upsell and cross-sell to existing clients to maximize account value.
  • Secure sponsors for events by creating compelling sponsorship packages.
  • Negotiate and close sponsorship deals that align with event goals and brand positioning.

3. Client Meetings & Presentations

  • Conduct client meetings to understand event requirements, present company offerings, and maintain strong relationships.

4. Proposal & Pitch Development

  • Collaborate with internal departments (creative, operations, production) to prepare tailored proposals and event concepts.
  • Ensure all proposals meet client objectives, budget constraints, and brand guidelines.

5. Database & CRM Management

  • Maintain and regularly update the company’s database with accurate client and lead information.
  • Monitor sales activity, pipeline status, and client follow-ups.

6. Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with event planning, creative, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution from pitch to delivery.

Job Requirements

  • Proficiency in English; additional languages are a bonus, especially for assisting international clients.
  • Proven experience as a Business Development Assistant, Sales Assistant, or similar role, preferably within the MICE or event management industry.
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite; experience with event management tools is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external clients.
  • Time management skills to prioritize tasks and assist with meeting deadlines effectively.
