Job Description
- Lead the mechanical design and development of new home appliance products from concept through production.
- Oversee and execute engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, manufacturing, and quality assurance to optimize product performance.
- Conduct detailed analysis and simulations to validate mechanical designs and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Develop and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing processes.
- Identify and implement improvements in product design, materials, and manufacturing techniques to enhance reliability and cost-effectiveness.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source components and resolve technical issues.
- Participate in product testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis to drive continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices relevant to mechanical engineering and home appliances.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or electrical Engineering.
- Male
- 4 to 7 years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within the home appliances or consumer electronics industry.
- Proven track record of leading engineering projects from concept to completion.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
- Experience with product lifecycle management and manufacturing processes.
- Solid understanding of materials science, thermodynamics, and mechanical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
