Job Description
Role Purpose
Handle all mechanical technical office activities including shop drawings, material submittals, and coordination with other disciplines, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery for construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and review shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical submittals for HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical systems.
• Study project specifications, design drawings, and BOQs to ensure compliance with project and code requirements.
• Coordinate with site teams, consultants, and other engineering disciplines to resolve design or installation issues.
• Review and finalize material submittals in line with project standards.
• Conduct accurate quantity take-offs to support procurement.
• Maintain and update technical documentation, logs, and reports.
• Support in value engineering and cost optimization proposals.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10–12 years of experience in mechanical works for construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and MS Office; Primavera P6 knowledge is a plus.
• Solid understanding of local and international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.).
• Strong technical problem-solving and coordination skills.
