Job Description
OYA Energy is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Technical Application Engineer to support our operations in the selection and procurement of Grundfos pumps and other mechanical and electrical equipment. The selected candidate will work closely with the sales department to provide accurate technical solutions and assist in preparing supplier quotations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze sales department requirements and select suitable pumps from the Grundfos product catalog using Grundfos Product Center and other selection tools.
- Prepare technical and financial offers based on manufacturer quotations and submit them to management for pricing.
- Communicate directly with Grundfos and other equipment manufacturers to request quotations and clarify technical queries.
- Provide technical support for mechanical and electrical purchases, including documentation, datasheet reviews.
- Assist the procurement department in evaluating and selecting equipment suppliers for mechanical and electrical systems.
- Support internal departments with technical input throughout the tendering and procurement processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 1–3 years of experience in pump selection or technical support (experience with Grundfos or similar brands preferred).
- Hands-on experience with pumps, preferably Grundfos, and other industrial equipment such as motors, valves, and piping systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of industrial mechanical and electrical systems.
- Very good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Strong technical reporting and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
