About Us

We’re a tech-savvy company and part of a growing group operating across different sectors and regions. Escooter Clinic focuses on repair and service for personal electric vehicles across the UK. We work across markets, move fast, and believe in flexibility, ownership, and clear communication. No two days are the same — and that’s how we like it.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced eCommerce Operations Manager to take full ownership of our online operations and drive scalable, optimized workflows. This role requires a strategic operator who can lead and develop a performance-driven team while staying hands-on when needed. You will be responsible for managing the entire eCommerce operations lifecycle, improving tools and processes, and using business KPIs to make data-driven decisions that improve efficiency and customer experience.

You should be a systems thinker who understands how to build robust processes, a people manager who can coach and motivate teams, and a cross-functional communicator who can align Customer Service, Warehousing, Tech, and Marketing around smooth execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the full spectrum of eCommerce operations.
  • Lead and develop the eCommerce team handling:
  • Product uploads, descriptions, images, and pricing.
  • CMS updates, blog content, and product categorization.
  • Order management from purchase to delivery, returns, and repairs.
  • Follow-up on customer service resolutions and continuation of orders.
  • Inventory control, stock coordination, and system syncing.
  • C2W (Click-to-Workshop) process for repairs and after-sales operations.
  • Own and optimize internal workflows, platforms, and operational documentation.
  • Manage and improve stock management tools and eCommerce operation tools.
  • Build scalable processes and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate closely with Customer Service, Warehousing, and Marketing teams.

KPI & Data-Driven Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, tracking, and reporting of key eCommerce KPIs (conversion rate, fulfillment rate, stock accuracy, listing accuracy, return rate, order cycle time).
  • Monitor platform and team performance data to identify bottlenecks and process gaps.
  • Use KPI insights to drive weekly and monthly decisions and operational improvements.
  • Set performance goals and regularly review progress with the team to ensure targets are met.

Job Requirements

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in eCommerce operations.
  • Proven track record managing teams, with experience leading medium-sized or cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of order management, stock/inventory control, fulfillment, and returns processes.
  • Experience using and implementing eCommerce management tools (e.g., BaseLinker, Linnworks, ChannelEngine, Veeqo, or equivalent) and stock/inventory systems.
  • Proven experience working with and improving eCommerce KPIs across operations and platform performance.
  • Ability to translate performance data into process improvements and team coaching.
  • Skilled in building and refining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and managing knowledge bases.
  • Results-oriented with experience in optimizing KPIs, dashboards, and reporting.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, able to align cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organized, process-driven, analytical, and comfortable balancing strategic oversight with hands-on management.

If you’re an experienced eCommerce manager looking to take full ownership of operations in a fast-growing company, we’d love to hear from you!
