Operations Associate

Role Overview:SingaporeDaily Tasks:Run cash investing and liquidity models/report for TradersAgree/dispute collateral margin calls and facilitate pull backs on excess collateralAddress inquiries from Portfolio Management and Account Management TeamsAssist with the oversight and resolution of trade settlement issues, fails, and claimsPerform daily asset setup function of various securities, such as, bond, derivatives, and equitiesPerform derivatives confirmation on the MarkitWire platform (MW)Monthly Tasks:Client ReportingsAd-Hoc:Leading projects and initiatives to enhance PIMCO's operational and trading capabilitiesResearch and resolve inquiries from internal and external groupsBuilding and/or supporting the development of metric reports that pinpoint areas or risk to be presented to senior managementSkills & QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Accounting, Economics or Finance preferred4+ years of work experience in the investment management or financial service industryGood experience of product knowledge in processing and settlement of various financial products (Fixed Income, Forex, Derivatives, Repos, TBAs and Equity products recommended)Possesses good knowledge and experience in either cash and collateral management, Asset set up (reference data knowledge), transition events handling, claims management or Asia markets onboarding will a plusExperience in managing processes, prioritizing multiple tasks within a fast paced, high pressure environment, and meticulous to detailsExperience in managing internal stakeholders (Front Desks, AMs) and external stakeholders (Custodian Banks, Brokers, outsource service providers, etc)
