Job Description
- Prepare and write clear, detailed technical specifications for materials, products, systems, and equipment used in projects.
- Ensure specifications meet project requirements, applicable codes, industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM), and client expectations.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, and procurement teams to align specifications with design and performance goals.
- Review and approve material submittals and technical documents to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Maintain and update a centralized specification library and templates for internal use.
- Support the value engineering process by evaluating alternative materials and proposing cost-effective solutions.
- Participate in technical reviews, tender documentation, and procurement evaluations.
- Monitor industry trends, emerging materials, and best practices to continuously improve specification quality.
- Ensure documentation is complete, well-organized, and accessible throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in resolving technical discrepancies during construction or manufacturing phases related to specifications.
Job Requirements
- Maximum age : 40 years old
- Sales background is a must
- Develop and write clear, detailed technical specifications for construction materials, equipment, and systems.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure specifications align with project goals.
- Ensure that specifications comply with relevant industry standards (ISO, ASTM, etc.), building codes, and safety regulations.
- Maintain and update the specification library and templates.
- Review supplier and subcontractor submittals to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Assist in value engineering and material selection based on technical and cost efficiency.
- Provide support during project bidding and procurement phases.
