Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed shop drawings for kitchens, dressing rooms, and other furniture based on design inputs and client approvals
- Generate accurate cut lists, material take-offs, and hardware/accessories schedules for production
- Detail every box, panel, shelf, hinge, and runner – with complete dimensions, drilling locations, and assembly logic
- Ensure compatibility between design aesthetics and production constraints (materials, machine specs, etc.)
- Coordinate closely with the design team and factory team to resolve technical conflicts or feasibility issues
- Use CAD or 3D software to prepare exploded views, joinery details, and installation guides when needed
- Maintain a library of technical templates and standards for different product types (kitchen carcasses, tall units, vanities, etc.)
- Optimize material usage to reduce waste and cost
- Ensure all drawings meet company quality standards and are ready for production without rework
- Support the project handover process from sales → technical → production
- Assist in updating BOMs (Bill of Materials) in Odoo (ERP) or equivalent system
Job Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in technical furniture detailing, specifically kitchens and wardrobes
- Proficient in AutoCAD (mandatory) and any of: SketchUp, 3D Max, Cabinet Vision, or similar
- Familiarity with panel-based furniture construction and accessories (hinges, runners, LED profiles, etc.)
- Understanding of various wood materials (MDF, Conter, Melamine, Acrylic, etc.)
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
