Kitchen Technical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed shop drawings for kitchens, dressing rooms, and other furniture based on design inputs and client approvals
• Generate accurate cut lists, material take-offs, and hardware/accessories schedules for production
• Detail every box, panel, shelf, hinge, and runner – with complete dimensions, drilling locations, and assembly logic
• Ensure compatibility between design aesthetics and production constraints (materials, machine specs, etc.)
• Coordinate closely with the design team and factory team to resolve technical conflicts or feasibility issues
• Use CAD or 3D software to prepare exploded views, joinery details, and installation guides when needed
• Maintain a library of technical templates and standards for different product types (kitchen carcasses, tall units, vanities, etc.)
• Optimize material usage to reduce waste and cost
• Ensure all drawings meet company quality standards and are ready for production without rework
• Support the project handover process from sales → technical → production
• Assist in updating BOMs (Bill of Materials) in Odoo (ERP) or equivalent system
