Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Sales Engineer with experience in the Decoration & Finish industry to drive sales and business development. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of decorative materials, surface coatings, finishing systems, or interior architectural products, and be able to communicate technical solutions effectively to clients.
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the decoration and finish markets (e.g. architectural coatings, decorative surfaces, wall/floor systems, etc.).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations for clients and partners.
- Prepare detailed proposals and quotations, aligning technical offerings with customer needs.
- Collaborate with R&D or product management to tailor solutions for customer-specific requirements.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
- Maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, applicators, and distributors.
- Provide post-sales support and troubleshoot application-related issues.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategy.
- Report regularly on sales performance, forecasts, and market intelligence.

- Proven track record selling complex enterprise solutions
- Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives
- Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent presentation and creativity skills
- Willingness to travel
- BA/BS degree or equivalent, preferably with a numeracy base
