Job Summary:
The Project Sales Engineer is responsible for proactively identifying and cultivating new business opportunities within the project sector to achieve and surpass established sales targets. This role requires a strong understanding of our product offerings to address client inquiries and provide comprehensive technical support effectively. A key aspect of this position involves building and maintaining enduring relationships with both existing and prospective clients, coupled with the skillful negotiation and closure of sales agreements to meet revenue objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular client engagement through on-site visits to designers, contractors, and developers, effectively promoting our products and solutions.
- Maintain consistent follow-up on active projects via professional communication channels, including telephone, email, and site meetings.
- Strategically prospect and identify emerging geographical areas and market segments to generate new project leads and expand our market presence.
- Develop detailed and competitive financial and technical proposals for tender projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client requirements.
- Prepare and present product samples and comprehensive catalogs to clients, clearly articulating product features and benefits.
- Liaise effectively with internal departments, such as Accounting, Logistics, and Warehouse, to monitor project workflows and ensure seamless execution.
- Engage in continuous learning to maintain current knowledge of new product introductions and evolving industry trends.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Relevant Bachelor's degree. Engineering (Architecture, Interior Design, or related field) is preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in sales within the construction industry, preferably focusing on high-end building materials.
- Proven track record of successful sales achievement and exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A valid driver's license and owning a car is preferred.
