Job Description

  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for electrical works in accordance with project specifications and drawings.
  • Review and analyze electrical drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure accurate measurement and pricing.
  • Monitor and track project costs, variations, and budgets for electrical components throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to provide timely and accurate cost information.
  • Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations for electrical materials and services.
  • Prepare and submit interim and final payment applications for electrical works.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of tender documents, bills of quantities, and procurement schedules.
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks related to electrical cost and contractual matters.
  • Support the resolution of contractual claims and disputes related to electrical works.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements in all quantity surveying activities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years and maximum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying for electrical works.
  • Proven experience in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial reporting for construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, materials, and installation methods.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in quantity surveying software and MS Office applications.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental standards in construction.
