Job Description
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to support project requirements and timelines.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and quality materials.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders, contracts, and agreements in compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure reliability and quality.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Review technical specifications and ensure all procured items meet project standards and requirements.
- Manage procurement documentation, records, and reports for audit and compliance purposes.
- Resolve supply chain issues, discrepancies, or delays promptly to minimize project impact.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes and cost control.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the engineering or construction industry.
- Proven ability to manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with contract management and supplier evaluation.
- Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively in an office-based, on-site environment.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
