Job Description
- Review all incoming purchase requests (PRs) from projects and verify item availability in warehouses before initiating procurement.
- Coordinate with project teams to clarify specifications, including technical details, brands, or product images if required.
- Ensure employees provide competitive quotations from suppliers and validate the accuracy of the submitted offers.
- Approve and validate PRs before conversion into Purchase Orders (POs).
- Review Purchase Orders to ensure pricing accuracy, item descriptions, and compliance with procurement standards.
- Oversee the procurement cycle from supplier confirmation to delivery at the warehouse.
- Ensure proper receiving procedures are followed and confirm delivery with suppliers.
- Manage supplier invoicing by verifying invoice accuracy and matching with POs and Goods Receipt Notes (GRN).
- Resolve mismatches or discrepancies between deliveries and invoices.
- Review and approve supplier payment requests and check requisitions.
- Handle international procurement and follow up with suppliers and logistics staff for shipping and customs clearance.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and continuously monitor market conditions to achieve cost savings and secure reliable supply sources.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management (construction/projects background preferred).
- Strong knowledge of procurement cycle, supplier management, and international sourcing.
- Familiarity with financial processes including invoice matching, payment approvals, and cost control.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Odoo system and MS Office (Excel, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
