Job Description
- Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to understand project scope.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Liaise with internal departments to gather input for tenders.
- Issue RFQs to suppliers and subcontractors; evaluate technical and commercial offers.
- Prepare and submit technical and commercial bid proposals within deadline.
- Attend pre-tender and post-tender clarification meetings when required.
- Review BOQs and material requirements to develop procurement plans.
- Identify, evaluate, and qualify vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure best value.
- Issue purchase orders and follow up on deliveries to ensure timely supply.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor evaluations, and documentation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related).
- 3+ years of experience in tendering, cost estimation, and procurement.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, project specifications, and construction methods.
- Familiarity with engineering software, ERP systems.
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
