Quantity Surveyor Engineer

Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare and manage bills of quantities, tender documents, and contracts.
2. Conduct quantity takeoffs and estimate costs for construction projects.
3. Analyze and manage project costs, identifying areas for cost savings and optimization.
4. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate cost estimates and effective cost management.
5. Monitor project expenditures and provide regular cost reports to stakeholders.
6. Negotiate contracts and variations with contractors and suppliers.
7. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quantity surveying or cost management.
3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs.
4. Proficiency in quantity surveying software, such as CostX, PlanSwift, or similar tools.
5. Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
1. Professional certification, such as QS (Quantity Surveyor) or equivalent.
2. Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software.
3. Knowledge of contract administration and dispute resolution.
4. Experience with project management and team leadership.
