Job Description
- Lead the Importation door to door
- Handling Import shipments with freight forwarders and shipping lines and local transportation with tracking contractors.
- Maintains accurate records for all shipments and prepares all required reports.
- Inform and coordinate with the Accounting Department in handling payment issues, ensuring payment on time to avoid delays and further costs.
- To file properly all Import documentation and customs follow up.
- Direct escalation to managers for Import & Clearance issues
- Assure compliance of the imported material with the Egyptian regulations and the Egyptian standard specifications and international standards if applicable.
- Ensure giving high Service Standard via timely reply with freight information details/ status upon request for sales team and customers.
- Ensure collectives all requested documents for import and export drawback from freight forwarder on time with necessary stamps and provide to finance and drawback company for drawback claims with a respected agency.
- Qualifies shipping lines, forwarders and the Clearing Agents by evaluating the quality of service and prices
Job Requirements
- Required a bachelor degree
- Past experience: 4-6 years in a similar position.
