Job Description
- Prepare and place the purchase orders to the suppliers and follow up the shipping and clearance processes
- Assign freight forwarder whenever needed and negotiate to get the best rates
- Coordinate with the suppliers to ensure the material is received on time and according to the official orders
- Follow up with the customs brokers to ensure the material is cleared always within the free time and eliminate any kind of demurrages or detention charges
- Reporting to the logistics manager for the status of the shipments periodically
- On time update to the ERP system for all the details of the shipments
- Collaborating with sales department for the orders and updating the sales team always by the exact status of the orders
- Reviewing all the shipping documents perfectly to ensure they are always accurate and according to the formal regulations
- Eliminate the lead time of the orders through best liaison with all the relevant parties involved in the process
Job Requirements
- University degree and at least 2 years of work experience in logistics
- Good communication skills and fluent English
- MS office skills and ERP system knowledge. Dynamics 365 experience is a great advantage
- Good logistics knowledge of international freight systems and Inco terms
- High level of accuracy for reviewing the shipping documents and avoid any mismatching information
- The job is for females only and must be based in Cairo
