Our client, a prestigious large-scale luxury catering group in Saudi Arabia, is seeking an accomplished Assistant Director of Sales to lead a dynamic sales division.
This pivotal role requires an experienced leader with a proven background in high-end catering or group events within luxury hotels.
The ideal candidate will drive revenue growth, enhance client satisfaction, and lead a proactive, reactive, and administrative sales team of 10, while ensuring the seamless execution of high-profile events.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day management of a sales team covering proactive, reactive, and administrative functions
Implement and leverage CRM systems (e.g., Opera, Delphi) to track leads, optimize pipelines, and report on sales performance
Drive revenue through strong leadership and example-setting, including achieving personal and team booking targets
Set and recommend sales targets, while monitoring team performance and development
Conduct internal alignment meetings between sales and operations teams to ensure flawless business conversion
Lead sales calls and client meetings to secure new business and close strategic deals
Generate proposals, manage customer correspondence, resolve complaints, and ensure timely reporting
Analyze market trends and contribute to strategic planning with the revenue team, including forecasting and budgeting
Review guest satisfaction feedback and implement service improvements based on findings
Uphold premium guest experience standards by interacting with clients and guiding the team in customer-centric service delivery
Act as a brand ambassador at key events, networking functions, and during high-profile client engagements
Build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships to support business development goals

Job Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
Extensive experience in luxury catering, events, or 5-star hotel group and event sales
Proven experience in team leadership and performance management
Prior exposure to high-volume, high-value catering or events is essential
Strong command of CRM systems (e.g., Opera, Delphi) and data-driven decision-making
Experience working in the Middle East is an advantage, but not required
Deep understanding of luxury hospitality standards and client expectations
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
Strategic thinker with the ability to lead execution under pressure
Extensive experience in luxury catering, events, or 5-star hotel group and event sales
Proven experience in team leadership and performance management
