Supply Chain Coordinator

Job description:Job Title: Supply Chain CoordinatorWork Location: Doha, Qatar Your RoleThis role serves as a vital bridge between the Supply Chain teams in sourcing units and the local operations teams of Lipton in Qatar and Kuwait, as well as the distributors operating in the regions. The main responsibility is to ensure all related tasks necessary for a smooth operation between the three touch points are well coordinated and all required information is shared with all stakeholders on a timely manner.Main responsibilitiesMonthly, weekly, and daily reporting on stocks, shipments used for Management Information System (MIS).Coordination between the Sourcing Units, local operations team, Distributors to ensure smooth flow and execution of transactions. Daily tasks and reports:Liaison & coordinate between factory & distributor for purchase orders in the systemCheck Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) from cargo portal / Poland logistics / internal logistics team and follow up with relevant stakeholders on timely submission of documents.Follow up with factory team on invoice posting and ensure post factory invoice are disbursed on time with finance team.Follow up with Ministry of Public Health & Price registration to ensure all required local registrations are completed for all SKUs on time for sales execution.Monitor and report progress on the local packing activity at both distributors and alert the sourcing unit team on any actions required to meet the timeline.Transport management: coordinate with distributor (in Qatar) to ensure the transport arrangements are done as per the production planned between Qatar factory and distributor.Confirm receipt of stocks for financial accounting for distributors in Qatar and KuwaitCheck and report on slow moving and obsolete stocks lying in Qatar and Kuwait distributors & discuss forecast corrections along with liquidation plans with respective teams.Validation of logistic claims of Qatar & Kuwait distributors.In transit report in coordination with the Sourcing Unit team on a daily basis.Shelf life and opening stocks to be maintained regularly for both distributors.Any other tasks as assigned to the role as part of business requirement from time to time.
