Job Description
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices, quality, and delivery terms for goods and services.
- Process purchase orders and ensure timely procurement of materials in accordance with company policies and project requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance to support audit and compliance activities.
- Collaborate with internal departments to identify purchasing needs and forecast demand for inventory and supplies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to foster long-term partnerships and resolve any issues promptly.
- Review and analyze purchase requisitions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards.
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of new suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance to management.
Job Requirements
- 1-5 years of proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related field.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build effective supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions.
- Familiarity with supply chain management principles and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote work environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve supplier or delivery issues efficiently.
- Understanding of contract terms, conditions, and compliance requirements.
