Job Description
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers to ensure the best quality, price, and delivery terms for raw materials and equipment.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure advantageous deals and maintain cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
- Conduct regular market research to stay updated on industry trends and pricing fluctuations.
- Resolve any issues related to delivery delays, quality discrepancies, or invoice disputes with suppliers.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their purchasing needs and provide effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in all procurement activities.
- Prepare and present regular reports on purchasing activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and purchasing software.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or factory setting is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
