Join the heart and soul of Accenture, partnering with our extraordinary people to bring innovation into every organization.The Employee Relations Lead is a highly seasoned and strategic professional within the Employee Relations domain, serving as a beacon of expertise and leadership. Responsible for shaping and executing the overall strategy, the Employee Relations Lead oversees the seamless delivery of Human Resource Policies and Internal Controls Compliance services across multiple Market Unit countries. Employee Relations Lead assesses risk, develops and implements mitigation actions, ensuring awareness and enforce compliance to policy requirements, core values and code of business ethics.The Employee Relations Lead builds knowledge and expertise on Human Resource policy and Employee Relations matters, manages execution and operational direction of Human Resource Internal Controls across Market Unit countries, and drives management of people matters including investigations, managed departures, disciplinary process.Main tasks and supportAct as a strategic advisor to local and offshore HR Partners, serving as a paramount subject matter expert for all HR policies. Focal point for all Middle East Policies ensuring all relevant policies are documented and published, in line with Accenture principles / core values and aligned to legal requirements in the countries, including Country / Location supplements for all major Accenture policies. Provide expert guidance on complex employee situations and review instances of employee misconduct, ensuring a judicious and fair approach, working closely with Accenture’s legal team. Drive transformational Employee Relations projects in alignment with the overall ER agenda, leading end-to-end program management, change management, and stakeholder engagement. Manage internal and external communication efforts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a policy and Employee Relations subject matter expert, providing guidance to HR representatives. Provide strategic support to local and offshore HR Partners in managing complex / sensitive employee situations Assist the Corporate Investigations team in reviewing Business Ethics Line mattersConduct investigations into employee conduct matters in ME and lead local disciplinary and grievances processes.Understand evolving employment legislations and rules and translate them into HR actionsLead and drive transformational ER projects aligned with the ER agenda. Manage end-to-end program and change management, stakeholder engagement, and internal/external communication. Assess legal risks, collaborate with legal advisors, and ensure compliance with legislation. Documentation and periodic review of key policies / country supplements – to reflect best practice, compliance with law and Accenture guidelines and relevance to the MU needsDrive the development and deployment of new ER practices and continuous improvement initiatives. Build and maintain online repository of knowledge updates best practices for easy access and retrieval.Develop metrics, leverage analytics, and create comprehensive review decks for the Leadership team. Escalate to MU HR Lead / MU Lead / SG/CG Lead when applicable. Priority Capabilities & SkillsStrategic Employee Case Management, Advanced Employee Relations Process, Expertise in Designing Employment Practices, In-depth knowledge of Labor Law HR Policy Development, Strong background in Maintenance Labor Relations, Stakeholders Management Stakeholders Management includes: HR Lead, Legal Lead, Finance Lead Employee HR Partners, Rewards Lead, HR Service Delivery Lead, Learning LeadOther (external) Employers – HR / ER Leads and key Government contactsHR Service Providers (example: Fragomen, Proven, Payroll Vendors etc) Knowledge And Skill RequirementsComplex Problem Solving: Analyze and solve complex problems, creating new solutions and adapting existing methods and procedures, as necessary. Strategic Alignment: Understand the strategic direction set by senior management and align team goals with the broader organizational objectives. Negotiation Skills: Possess advanced negotiation skills to navigate complex situations and stakeholder interactions. Program Management and Designing: Demonstrate proficiency in program management and designing, overseeing comprehensive initiatives aligned with ER goals. Data Analytics and Interpretation: Utilize strong data analytics and interpretation skills to inform decision-making and drive insights into ER programs. Stakeholder and Team Management: Excel in Stakeholder Management, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Exhibit strong Team Management capabilities, leading and inspiring a high-performing ER team. Business Acumen: Demonstrate strong Business Acumen, connecting ER initiatives to broader business strategies and goals. Conflict Management: Possess advanced Conflict Management skills, adept at navigating and resolving complex conflicts.
