Job Description
- Book, issue, and reissue flight tickets, handling simple point-to-point ticket tasks such as issues, reissues, refunds, and exchanges.
- Provide accurate pricing, travel options, and itineraries to clients.
- Assist tour operators in finding the best flight options based on their preferences.
- Address client inquiries and resolve booking and ticketing issues promptly.
- Offer travel advice, including visa requirements, health and safety protocols, and travel insurance.
- Liaise with airlines, hotels, and travel partners for bookings, updates, and special requests.
- Manage group travel arrangements, including schedules and pricing.
- Process ticket cancellations, modifications, and refunds efficiently, ensuring compliance with airline and company policies.
- Handle payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Stay updated on promotional offers and supplier deals to maximize sales opportunities.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
- GDS Basic/Advanced certification.
- Certification in Ticketing Systems or Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and NDC.
- Proficiency in at least one system (mainly Amadeus) with the ability to learn another within 6 months.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Experience:
- 1+ years in ticketing or travel services.
- Upper-intermediate English proficiency.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Adaptability and flexibility to switch departments based on business needs.
