Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Representative to lead and expand our sales operations in North and West Africa. This role is crucial for driving revenue growth and establishing strong relationships with key clients in the region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the poultry industry, proven sales experience, and excellent communication skills in French.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the North and West African poultry market
- Manage and support existing customer relationships as well as dealers & distributers
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities
- Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals
- Provide technical support and training to customers on Giordano products
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and achieve company objectives
- Represent Giordano at industry events and trade shows
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management
- Manage sales budget and expenses effectively
- Travel within the North and West Africa region as required
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience of poultry sector is a must
- Fluency in French (written and spoken) is essential
- 5-7 years of commercial work experience
- Strong communication skills verbal and written
- Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills
- Availability of international travel
