Job Description
- Manage all import and export shipments, ensuring timely delivery, Import knowledge is plus.
- Collaborate with local shipping lines, agents, truckers, and customs clearance.
- Liaise with suppliers worldwide, building and maintaining positive relationships.
- Handle all import/export documentation, including Bills of Lading, invoices, e-invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin.
- Possess strong knowledge and experience with the new customs systems ACID and NAFEZA.
- Prioritize tasks to meet shipping deadlines and maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Monitor country import/export regulations and communicate updates to relevant departments.
- Prepare daily/weekly reports on shipments and vessels.
- Collaborate with team members to establish and implement best practices for smooth operations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 3-5 years of experience in import/export, trading, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and logistics a plus.
- Experience with ACID, NAFEZA, and e-invoicing systems preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
