Job Description

  • Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company’s plans and vision and communicate them to subordinates.
  • Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks
  • Receive complaints and resolve problems.
  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with company goals, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement raw and packaging materials planning strategies to meet production demands while minimizing excess inventory and waste.
  • Monitor inventory levels, analyzing usage trends and forecasting future needs to prevent shortages or overstock situations upon seasonality. 
  • Work closely with production teams to align material availability with production schedules and product launches.
  • Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities, and supplier performance evaluation.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices, and set delivery plans to ensure timely delivery and achieve the best possible outcomes and optimal performance. 
  • Oversee the purchase order process, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment of orders.
  • Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and new products to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and operations, to align purchasing strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in material planning and procurement, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Cairo residents only.
  • 6-10 years solid experience in purchasing.
  • Proven experience as supervisor or relevant role.
  • Familiarity with company policies and legal guidelines of the field
  • Fast learner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP system.
  • Diploma/Certificate in first line management or relevant field (preferable).
