Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Operational Duties: 
  • Capacity Analysis: 
    • Conducting analysis of current and future capacity requirements based on demand forecasts, business growth projections, and historical data.
    • Assessing the organization's resources, such as equipment, facilities, and workforce, to ensure they can meet the projected demand.
  • Resource Planning: 
    • Developing strategies and plans to optimize the utilization of resources. 
    • Determining the appropriate staffing levels, scheduling shifts, and allocating resources efficiently to meet service delivery targets.
    • Optimizing inventory levels to avoid both stockouts (which lead to delays and missed deliveries) and overstocking (which ties up resources and increases storage costs).
    • Anticipating future demand patterns and aligning capacity accordingly.
    • Analyze historical Mobility data, market trends, and customer demand to forecast Mobility capacity requirements and plan for peak seasons or fluctuations.
  • Demand Forecasting: 
    • Collaborating with sales, marketing, and operations teams to gather data and insights for accurate demand forecasting. 
    • Anticipating future demand patterns and aligning capacity accordingly.
    • Analyze historical Mobility data, market trends, and customer demand to forecast Mobility capacity requirements and plan for peak seasons or fluctuations.
    • Lead demand forecasting efforts using statistical methods and market insights to predict customer needs accurately.
    • Ensure compliance and mitigate any potential risks or penalties.
  • Performance Monitoring: 
    • Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of capacity planning and resource allocation. 
    • Tracking and analyzing performance data to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Supply Chain Optimization:
    • Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service level agreements.
    • Identify risks in the supply chain and propose mitigation strategies to enhance reliability.
  • Continuous Improvement: 
    • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices in capacity planning and resource management. 
    • Evaluating new technologies, tools, or methodologies that can enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    • Develop and implement capacity planning strategies for Mobility unit operations to ensure efficient utilization of resources, including Business Development, E-shop, and Autocare centers.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Oversee inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess inventory.
    • Monitor inventory levels and turnover rates to optimize working capital and reduce excess stock costs.
  • Solution Development:
    • Facilitate continuous improvement projects focused on enhancing overall supply chain efficiency.
  • Reporting and Analysis: 
    • Generating reports and presenting data to management and stakeholders to provide insights into capacity utilization, resource allocation, and performance metrics. 
    • Using analytical tools and techniques to analyze data and make informed decisions.
    • Utilize advanced forecasting tools and software to enhance data accuracy and reporting efficiency.
  • Financial Duties: 
  • Budgeting and forecasting:
    • Developing and managing the supply chain department budget, this includes allocating resources for Business Development, Autocare, E-shop, inventory management, and other mobility unit activities.
    • Analyzing historical data and market trends to predict future needs and ensure efficient use of resources. 
    • Tracking actual spending against the budget and adjusting as needed to stay on track.
    • Analyze variances between budgeted and actual expenditures, providing insights and recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Cost analysis and optimization:
    • Developing and implementing strategies to reduce mobility supply chain costs, this may involve negotiating better rates with vendors, optimizing Distribution routes, implementing lean warehousing practices, and improving inventory management in collaboration with Logistics business unit.
    • Analyzing the financial impact of using different distribution modes, promotion offers, and warehousing options in collaboration with concerned parties.
    • Conduct thorough cost analysis related to supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
    • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements within the supply chain processes.
  • Financial reporting and analysis:
    • Preparing and presenting financial reports to management
    • Analyzing financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
    • Providing financial input into strategic decision-making, this includes advising management on the financial implications of different supply chain initiatives.
  • Supplier Financial Assessment:
    • Evaluate the financial health of suppliers to mitigate risks associated with supplier reliability and performance.
  • Performance Metrics Reporting:
    • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain efficiency, cost management, and forecasting accuracy.
    • Prepare regular reports for senior management that highlight financial performance against targets and provide actionable insights.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
    • Partner with finance, operations, and sales teams to align supply chain strategies with overall business objectives.
    • Participate in strategic planning sessions to ensure that supply chain initiatives support long-term financial goals.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify potential financial risks within the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on the organization.
    • Monitor external factors (e.g., market trends, regulatory changes) that could affect supply chain costs and profitability.

 

  • Team Management Duties: 
  • Team Leadership and Development: 
    • Lead and manage a team of capacity and planning professionals.
    • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
    • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
    • Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance the team's knowledge and skills.
    • Set clear expectations, establish goals, and motivate team members to achieve targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
    • Foster a positive work environment, encouraging collaboration, teamwork, and open communication.

 

  • Customer Satisfaction Duties
  • Clear communication:
    • Keeping customers informed about order status, potential delays, and any other relevant information to manage expectations and prevent frustration.
    • Promptly and effectively resolving customer complaints and issues related to deliveries, inventory, or other supply chain matters.
    • Sharing data and insights with both internal stakeholders and customers to improve transparency and build trust.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: 
    • Collaborating with various departments, such as Autocare operations, Business Development, & E-shop to gather input, align plans, and ensure coordination across the organization, this involves effective communication and stakeholder management.

 

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Education: 

  • Bachelor's degree in operations management, supply chain management, industrial engineering, or a related field is commonly required.

Years of Experience: 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Planning or sales or business development.
  • Proven experience in capacity planning, resource allocation, or Commercial planning is highly valuable.
  • Previous experience in a managerial role is mandtory, as it showcases leadership and decision-making skills.

Certificates: 

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA).
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
