Job Description

Koudijs Kapo Feed (KKF), a prominent player in the animal feed industry, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead its HR department and implement strategic HR initiatives that support organizational development and growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in HR management, including change management, policy development, performance evaluation, and legal compliance. This role will work closely with with our Dutch partner to implement best practices as well. The HR Manager will collaborate with an HR Legal Admin Manager to ensure full legal compliance and will support KKF in building a highly motivated, structured, and compliant workforce ready for strategic expansion.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

HR Department Leadership

  • Oversee the HR department, covering all areas of HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, and policy compliance.
  • Mentor and lead the HR team to create an efficient, supportive, and legally compliant work environment.

Change Management

  • Drive and manage change initiatives across KKF, facilitating smooth transitions and aligning with organizational goals.
  • Communicate and implement strategies that promote adaptability and resilience within the company.

Global Standards & HR Policy Development

  • Collaborate with De Heus to harmonize KKF’s HR standards with global best practices, adapting these for the local context.
  • Develop comprehensive HR policies that support fairness, transparency, and adherence to local labor laws.

Labor Law Compliance & HR Legal Collaboration

  • Work closely with the HR Legal Admin Manager to ensure full compliance with Egyptian labor laws, manage licenses, and address any legal matters or court cases.
  • Oversee regulatory audits and collaborate on managing labor law requirements, maintaining robust compliance protocols.

Organizational Development & Workforce Planning

  • Assess and develop organizational structures to support current and future growth strategies.
  • Lead succession planning and workforce planning to ensure the company has a talent pipeline for critical positions.

Talent Management & Performance Evaluation

  • Oversee and refine performance evaluation processes to ensure fair and objective reviews, goal-setting, and employee development.
  • Implement performance management systems that align with organizational and individual success.

Learning, Development & Succession Planning

  • Design learning and development initiatives/trainings to enhance employee skills, support career development, and build leadership capacity.
  • Lead succession planning efforts to ensure continuity and readiness for key roles across the organization.

Compensation, Benefits, & Grading Structure

  • Develop fair and competitive salary schemes, grading structures, and benefits packages tailored to employee levels and market standards.
  • Regularly review and adjust compensation and benefits to retain talent and remain competitive.

HR Software & Systems

  • Implement and optimize HR software to improve efficiency in recruitment, payroll, performance evaluation, and record-keeping.
  • Provide training to HR staff and department managers on effective use of HR technology.

Culture Building & Employee Engagement

  • Promote a positive work culture that aligns with KKF’s values and business goals.
  • Implement programs to enhance employee engagement, job satisfaction, and retention.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or HR certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years in HR management
  • Proven experience in compensation, benefits design, and policy development.
  • Familiarity with HR software systems to streamline and manage HR operations.
  • Experience in collaborating with legal or compliance teams, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of Egyptian labor laws and experience liaising with regulatory bodies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with fluency in English and Arabic.
