Job Description
Job Purpose Lead sustainable impact across production and cost for North Phosphate by:Developing OE team, including recruiting, training, coaching and overall managementSupporting the identification, prioritization and implementation of initiativesSupporting management in their priorities toward meeting annual production and cost targets Lead the establishment of Maaden’s continuous improvement value across Phosphate North. Position is responsible for achieving key performance metrics to satisfy customer demand as well as key business drivers including meeting customer deadlines, maintaining appropriate levels of work in process.Key Accountabilities Manages the analysis of plant performance, identification, and recommendation of opportunities for improvement and implementation as appropriate. Supports Top management with implementation best practices Sets focused targets and continuously reassesses goals enabling teams to identify areas of improvement Reviews points to meet targets as an opportunity to learn and refine underdeveloped processes Acts as an unwavering advocate of Degrees of Implementation methodology; partner to the Affiliate Presidents in leading the organization, through cultural change, to embrace an environment of continuous improvement and employee engagement Analyzes workflows and encourages team involvement to improve safety, quality, and productivity across all the organization. Install processes to measure effectiveness of the Continuous Improvement system Promotes performance excellence principles and a continuous improvement culture Provides coaching to Operational Excellence teams across Affiliates for effective Degrees of Implementation Leads adoption of established continuous improvement standards.Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Competencies Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in relevant business field (Engineering, Business Management, Project Management, Process Management, Finance etc.).Lean Six Sigma green Belt, and Black Belt is preferred.Change Management Certification is preferred Minimum Experience:8+ years of experience in manufacturing industry or in operational excellence, 1 year in managerial role, proven experience in leading at least 2 transformation programs are a must.Proven track record in driving transformations and sustainable change.
