Job Description
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for Sweven Construction in the commercial and residential construction sectors.
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients, industry partners, and stakeholders
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify areas of growth and strategic advantage.
- Collaborate with the sales, estimating, and project management teams to develop and pitch comprehensive solutions.
- Prepare detailed proposals, presentations, and contract documents to win new projects
- Monitor and report on the status of active business development initiatives
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve the company's business development processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Arch or civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client relations in the construction industry.
- Strong technical understanding of construction materials, methods, and project delivery.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using data analysis tools.
- Valid driver's license.
- Experience with construction estimating and project management is preferred.
- Familiarity with building engineering software is preferred.
- Knowledge of construction regulations and codes is preferred.
