Job Description
Responsible for identifying, onboarding, and managing vendor partnerships to expand the selection of medical, chemical, and laboratory supplies sold through the company's e-commerce website and mobile app. The Sales Representative will work cross-functionally to negotiate contracts, monitor vendor performance, and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Research and identify potential vendor partners that can provide high-quality medical, chemical, and lab supplies at competitive prices
- Initiate and lead the vendor onboarding process, including contract negotiations, setting up integrations, and establishing performance metrics
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor partners, addressing any issues or concerns and facilitating open communication
- Monitor vendor performance metrics, such as product availability, delivery times, and customer satisfaction, and work with vendors to address any gaps
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop co-promotional strategies and featured product placements to drive sales of vendor products
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for expanding the product assortment or optimizing vendor partnerships
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive products, and new vendor opportunities to continuously enhance the company's online offerings
- Work closely with the operations, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience for vendor products
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Pharmacy or any related fields
- 3+ years of experience in a sales, product promotions, account management, or vendor management role
- Proven track record of successful vendor negotiations and contract management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain productive vendor relationships
- Proficient in data analysis, using CRM systems, and generating sales reports
- Familiarity with the medical, chemical, or laboratory supplies industry is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
