Job Description
- Supplier Management: Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing relationships with key suppliers.
- Manage activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, controlling inventory, warehousing, or receiving.
- Inventory Management: Overseeing inventory levels to balance customer demand and production requirements.
- Production Planning: Collaborating with production teams to develop accurate production schedules and ensure the availability of materials and resources.
- Performance Measurement: Establishing (KPIs) to evaluate the overall supply chain performance. You'll need to analyze data, generate reports, and identify areas for improvement to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance, production, or quality assurance and Cross-functional Collaboration.
- Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes and resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents)
- Define and prepare work packages for Mechanical/Static/Rotating Machinery & piping work in process units.
- Manage assigned WO’s and backlog by priority and finish dates and perform detailed planning, scheduling, resources estimation and allocation, progress and performance reporting in complex process plant.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from repeatable university.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience supply chain operations.
- Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Must be punctual, organized, motivated detail oriented, and multitasking.
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Being proficient in planning software (Microsoft projects, ERP systems….)
