Job Description
- Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage all logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report supply chain performance to senior management.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee cycle counts and audits.
- Evaluate and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards across the supply chain.
- Lead cost-reduction initiatives and implement lean supply chain practices.
- Guide, train, and supervise supply chain staff across procurement, logistics, and warehouse functions.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Projects, and Sales to align supply chain planning with business needs.
- Troubleshoot supply chain issues such as delivery delays, inventory discrepancies, and customs clearances.
- Manage contracts, logistics services agreements, and supplier performance reviews.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, preferably in the industrial or oil & gas sectors.
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, inventory control, and vendor negotiation.
- Proven project management and leadership experience.
- Experience working with ERP systems and supply chain software.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and import/export laws is a plus.
