Job Description

  1. levels accuracy inventory Maintain
  2. Manage and maintain NSC’s material and stored product inventory including stock profiles and stock locations in the assigned territory.
  3. Manage and control Periodical & perpetual inventory stock counting / inventory accuracy checks; Sets cycle counts of inventory and clears any discrepancies in the assigned territory.
  4. Ensure materials/goods are ready and available for dispatch as and when required in the assigned territory.
  5. Ensure that any materials that are late or holding up sales for whatever reason are chased and followed up until resolved.
  6. Provide routine management information on inventory performance
    1. Monitor & evaluate consumables usage & costs
    2. Monitor & evaluate material utilization and scrap
    3. Monitor & evaluate Spare parts usage in repair and maintenance.
  7. Implement improvement processes and systems to reduce inventory, minimize costs and maximize working capital
  8. Advises employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock; and related problems.
  9. Work with the store managers at each location to ensure the store properly prepares and manages all aspects of inventory
  10. Ensure accurate written procedures for all main inventory control processes and functions are followed.
  11. Ensure works orders are correct and fully completed and that all stock has been allocated to the job correctly
  12. Ensure integrity and accuracy of the stock management system
  13. Produce daily reports to ensure key critical areas of the stock system are controlled and any discrepancies addressed and resolved
  14. Studies records and recommends remedial actions for reported non-usable, slow moving, and excess stock
  15. Reviews records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures, and to determine adequacy of stock levels
  16. Manage control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed and resolved
  17. Monitor & ensure repair and maintenance activities are done on time.
  18. Ensure product pictures are available in the product database.
  19. Ensure consolidated products details availability to Warehouse receiving.
  20. Perform other related duties as requested by management.
  21. Monitor performance of direct reports and guide them in managing their performance by providing appropriate feedback
  22. Allocate work to subordinates, nominate for training as per the origination’s guidelines and manage leave and overtime to ensure the efficiency of the group
  23. Ensure that subordinates are aware and familiar with assigned tasks and responsibilities
  24. Assist subordinates in resolution of any problems, discrepancies, and inquiries

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business
  • A minimum of 4 – 6 years of relevant experience
  • Accounting/finance or inventory control experience is preferred
  • Supply Chain Management
