Job Description
• Prepare bill of quantities (BOQ) based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Experience with BOQ for concrete structures, such as Formwork, Concrete, Steel Rebar is essential.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and material estimates for tenders and ongoing projects.
• Assist in cost estimation, budgeting, and forecasting of construction projects.
• Evaluate contractor and subcontractor claims and variations.
• Prepare and analyze costing for tenders and provide input into bid submissions.
• Track project progress and measure completed works to prepare interim payment applications.
• Support procurement by preparing material and subcontract packages.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate cost control.
• Analyze change orders and their impact on budget and schedule.
• Maintain updated records of quantities, costs, and variations.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• Minimum 3–7 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in building or infrastructure projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication and negotiation skills
