Job Description

We are looking for a Technical Office Engineer with experience in landscape construction to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing shop drawings, quantity surveying, and coordinating with site and design teams to ensure project execution aligns with technical specifications and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and update shop drawings and as-built drawings based on project needs.
  • Coordinate with the design team, consultants, and site engineers to resolve technical issues.
  • Prepare material take-offs and quantity surveys in alignment with project BOQs.
  • Handle technical documentation, including RFIs, submittals, method statements, and compliance sheets.
  • Review project specifications, drawings, and design documents to ensure proper implementation on-site.
  • Coordinate with procurement and planning departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and schedules.
  • Assist in preparing project reports and following up on approvals and client feedback.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and client expectations.

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Landscape Engineering.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in technical office work, preferably in landscaping or construction projects.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Familiarity with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project is a plus.
  • Ability to read and analyze shop drawings, details, and technical specifications.
  • Experience in quantity surveying and preparing BOQs.
  • Skilled in preparing shop drawings and as-built drawings.
  • Good knowledge of landscaping materials (softscape, hardscape, irrigation systems).
  • Experience in preparing RFIs, technical submittals, and coordination with other departments.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good command of English (written and spoken).
  • High level of commitment and time management.
