Job Description
The Technical Office Engineer is responsible for handling all technical and coordination tasks related to construction projects from the office. This includes preparing shop drawings, reviewing project specifications, coordinating with site teams and consultants, and supporting procurement and planning to ensure smooth project execution. Supports quantity surveying by preparing take-offs and verifying Bill of quantities (BOQs). Assists in project planning, scheduling updates, and progress tracking in coordination with the planning and project control teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering
- 2-5 Years experience in Technical office role.
- Proven experience in preparing and reviewing shop drawings and as-built drawings.
- Strong ability to coordinate with site teams, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
- Experience in quantity surveying and verifying BOQs for accuracy.
- Strong collaboration skills for working with the design team and ensuring timely submissions.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and preferably Primavera or MS Project.
